Organization
The purpose of sociable Singles is to be a vehicle for single people to meet and
interact with other single people. We are a non-profit non denominational
group with elected officers. Members are encouraged to volunteer to join the
committees that make the group function.
ActivitiesOur activities include dining out, dancing, discussion groups and house parties.
We sponsor local trips and dances for singles throughout the year.
Membership
Membership is limited to single adults. Dues are $25.00 per year. Some
activities, such as house parties, are limited to members only and their guest,
while other activities, such as dances, are open to all singles. Membership
entitles you to a discount at our regularly scheduled dances.
Singles MingleThe "Singles Mingle" Social Night is an opportunity for single adults to meet in a casual atmosphere to socialize and get updates on the coming events for Sociable Singles. You can have a bite to eat or a drink from the bar or just enjoy the opportunity to meet new people and find out what Sociable Singles is about. "Singles Mingle" Social Night is open to all single adults, you do not have to be a member to attend.
Social Night is held the first Thursday of each month, 7 to 9 p.m. in the function room at the Mattapoisett Chowder House, Route 6, Mattapoisett, MA Tel: (508) 758-2333.
